Mom goes back to work!

We had a very big week. I went back to work. Boy was is hard. It was much harder on me than it was on Jackson. He had lots of fun with Mrs. Shirley on Wed. and Aunt Care-Care babysat on Thurs. We know he loved that. Adam and I went to a crawfish boil on Saturday night and Deboux and Aunt Care-Care took care of Jackson. Here are a few pics from that night. Jackson is really getting going with the cooing now. Sometimes instead of crying it sounds like he is just letting you have it. It is so funny. He is also starting to bat at his toys and hold on to them for a little bit. We are trying to get him to like tummy time. We bought him a new little mat and mirror to look play with. We will see how that works.

Snugli time

Yesterday Jackson and I rode with Aunt Care-Care to her house to measure the windows. He loves to be in his little Snugli. He is getting so big. I am glad he loves to ride in it because it sure helps out!!! Look close at his right hand- wonder where he gets that from.

Christening

We had Jackson's Christening today. It was such a beautiful service. He did so good!! We had all of our close friends and family there to celebrate with us. Jackson's godparents are his Uncle Tommy and Aunt Katherine. After the service we came back to our neighborhood clubhouse for a reception. It started off a little rocky when Jackson decided to make a HUGE mess in his gown and carseat. I will not go in to detail, but it took about 5 people to get him cleaned up. A big thanks to everyone for that!! Otherwise everything went great. Jackson received lots of special gifts from everyone to remember this special day. We are truly so blessed.

Playtime!!

Jackson has been playing so much this week. He is very busy with his hands. He now puts everything in his mouth. Here is a pic of him sitting up like a big boy in his bumbo chair.

Party at my house

We had some friends over this weekend for a barbque. The kids had such a great time. Aubrey,
Rylee, and Taylor played so much. Jackson sat in his swing and took it all in. I can't wait until he can join in the fun. Here are a few pics from the night!!
