Boo at the Zoo

Jackson had so much fun. The first thing he saw was this huge blow-up Mickey Mouse. He ran up to it and said "Hey Mick Mouse" and just stood there like he was supposed to say something back. We got lots of treats! Great start to the Halloween weekend.

Dress up week at school!

Each day at school this week was a dress-up day. Monday was camo day, Tuesday was cowboy day, and Wednesday was hippie day. Jackson loved dressing up! We skipped pajama day today, but we did stay in our pajamas! Tomorrow they get to wear their costumes!

Pumpkin Patch

We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch. Jackson loved playing the the corn. When he saw all the pumpkins he yelled WOW! He like looking at all the animals in the petting zoo except the squealing baby pigs. He did not care for them at all. He thinks pigs say oink oink. He also loved the riding behind the tractor. He was never still so every picture is on the run!

We took Jackson to the USM Homecoming game today. I think he had said football at least 30 times by 9:00 this morning. He has been excited since the little pep rally at his school on Friday. He fell asleep in the car on the way to the game. Soon as we woke him up he stuck his arm in the air and yelled GO! He loved watching the football players! They also put us on the fan cam at the game. Jackson loved seeing himself on the big screen! We also got to see Anna and Sydney before the game. We had such a great time!

Mowing the yard

Jackson loves the lawnmower! He stood just like this and watched Adam mow the entire backyard.

Global Wildlife

We took Jackson to the Global Wildlife Center today. We met MaMaw down there. Jackson loved it, especially the giraffes. He would hold his food in the cup and when the animals came up to eat he would point and say NO! He kept calling the food rocks. We had so much fun!

New haircut!

Jackson got a big boy haircut yesterday. He looks so much older now. He was just to cute this morning before school. He got his bag and was standing by the door waiting to go. We also hit a major milestone...NO CRYING when I dropped him off. I couldn't believe it. He kissed me and said bye-bye! Yeah!!

Jackson's new shoes

We got these new slippers yesterday. Jackson picked them out at the store. When I put them on his feet he yelled WOW! It was priceless. We got some PJs to match.

I just can't seem to keep up. Jackson began his first day of playschool August 10th. We have had a rough start. He just doesn't like to be dropped off. His teacher says that he plays well during the day and is beginning to adjust to his new schedule. He is really missing his Nanny and PawPaw though! It seems that in just 3 weeks he is already becoming so much more independent. His is saying lots of new words and his favorite toy is his block set. He loves building towers tall as he is.

Beach Trip

We have had so much fun on vacation. Jackson had to warm up to the sand, but by the second day he loved it. He loves to go out in the water and jump the waves with us. He has been so good the entire time. We took him to the track to ride a few rides. He definately did not like the swing. He learned how to work the elevator almost immediately. I just can't believe how fast he is growing up. Here are a few pictures of our vacation.

Way behind

Boy am I behind... Jackson is keeping us so busy. He started walking at 141/2 months. He is talking up a storm. He is so independent. He loves all sports and a ball of any kind. He also loves to play outside. He can point out just about anything you ask him in a book. We actually had to go to the bookstore this past weekend and get NEW books. We were sick to death of the old ones. His favorites are the Sesame Street books. I can not believe he is about to be 16 months old. Well here are a few pics for you to see how big he has gotten.

First Haircut and Swimming Like a Fish

Jackson is everywhere now. He is not walking but crawling and bear crawling. He is saying Da-Da, outside, bye-bye, Pa-Paw, Uh-Oh, and book. He can say Ma-Ma but chooses to do so on a very limited basis. He also loves the water. I am so glad because I do too!!!

First Birthday

Wow what a day. Jackson had so much fun. All of our friends and family came to celebrate this special day with us. It was great!!
